Waiting for Proof

Because the Distributor had not rejected my latest updated interior and cover files and sent me an electronic invoice, I assumed that I would be getting a proof of Making Love Last in the mail by the end of this week. Not! I ran to the PO box only to find a letter addressed to some rental agency. My PO box is for Black Angle mail so why do the folk behind the cubby hole keep putting other stuff in our box. Oh my bad, government workers. Another slip up. Government and I'll leave it at that. I decided to check my blkangle mail from my phone and low and behold, they sent me an email telling me my specs weren't right. Don't these people know how to communicate? So what did I do, picked up the phone to call the Black Angle rep who says, "oh no Mz. Smiff, you don't have to upload your file, just submit a metadata change asking us to change the specs." What? I don't even think she believed she was saying what she said.
