Adopt a child

I have five days to buy clothes and toys for my 4 year old adopted Christmas child. It's been a long time since I had to shop for someone that young so the first place I went to was Kohls thinking I could get some sales. One pack of underwear cost me $9.00, what the? I ended up spending $80.00 for underwear, socks, gloves, a book and two shirts.
