One sharp lightning, high winds, power went out and boom! FTEs at Census were ghosts. It took every bit of 20 minutes to power up the computer and all the while I was cursing because I had worked on this one document all morning. I couldn't even remember if I even saved and named the file. Too busy concentrating on the content. But guess what? The unnamed document was retrieved by good ole Microsoft Word Save feature. That's one good thing I can say about MS Word, you are sure to have all or at times some of your files retrieved in the event of a failure. What good is that power protector?
